Who We Are

Our Core Values serve as the foundation for who we are as God’s people. These four principles are inherent to our identity as Lutheran Christians in the Virginia Synod: Christ, Peace, Community, Compassion. For us, this means, God’s love is revealed in Christ Jesus; God’s presence brings hope in the midst of change; God’s spirit unites us in relationship; and God’s generosity is boundless and calls us to serve.
